1966 BSA A65 Lightning

Matching numbers machine; running and riding; a very smart bike

Imported into the UK from New Jersey and UK registered in March 2020, this impressive Lightening has had lots of attention to small details since arrival.

A new front and rear tyre with tubes were added, along with a rear brake overhaul, a new battery, a set of standard bars and a new dual seat - hump-style correct for a '66-'70 bike.

After this detail work was completed, the vendor purchased a brand new Boyer Bransden ignition system, although never got round to fitting it.

Other paperwork includes a Haynes manual, a spares book and a BSA Owner's Club dating certificate which confirms that the engine is the original one to the frame.
